  • Our team

UN Environment Programme, Africa Office, is located in Nairobi, Kenya. We also have a sub-regional office for West Africa in Côte d'Ivoire, a liaison office in Ethiopia and offices in South Africa and Tanzania.

The Africa Office hosts the Secretariat of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN), which was established in 1985 following a conference of African ministers of environment held in Cairo, Egypt.
